Love This TV, December 9, 2009 By kaitlin Klaisey
I bought this TV on black Friday from Amazon.com. It came Last week. I was unsure how it would perform and just how many channels, if any, I would be able to get. I live 8 miles outside the city and in a grove of trees. When I received it, I pushed the button for channel scan, and in just a couple of minutes, I had 13 channels! Very good reception with just the antenna that came with the TV. Works great on the battery too. I am so plesed with my purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who has basically good reception on their bigger TVs, and no hills to block reception.
Nice picture, questionable reception, December 7, 2009 By J. Strauss
I was happily surprised by the picture quality of this TV. Watching football games outdoors during a tailgate party, the small text of other scores was clearly visible. Unfortunately, although right across the river from NY City’s many antennas, reception was only good in certain areas. Even then, the signal would fade periodically. It has the versatility to accept input from a wired source but as a portable TV you would prefer to be free of wired connections. Battery lasted almost 90 minutes in cold conditions which was a pleasant surprise.
Little TV/Monitor a good value, November 24, 2009
By Lou Stemmler
We work in video production and have bought several of these. We’ve found it to be an excellent value for the price. We use it primarily as a video monitor, sending composite video and stereo audio in through the RCA jacks on the side. So far, this has proven to be a reliable, compact, and easy-to-use monitor. The mini-headphone jack serves just fine, and the picture is bright, fully color-saturated, and reasonably crisp. A bit pesky to have to use the remote to switch the image between “normal” and wide-screen, which it doesn’t seem to sense automatically. And, of course, the small speakers are a bit crispy-sounding, but not bad for their limited size. Haven’t used the built-in battery much, so I can’t rate its life yet.
As a television, this model seems to pull in the local channels just fine with the included antenna. There are occasional dropouts, but I think that’s more a function of the digital TV signal. I’m still surprised to get the digital tuner plus the actual television/monitor for not that much more than the digital tuners by themselves. Controls are simple enough that I bought one for my dear mother to use, and she’s not exactly eager to deal with complicated devices.
Again, so far, we’re very satisfied and will probably buy a couple more of these.
7″ Portable TV, November 24, 2009

I bought this TV for my bedroom and so far, so good. It does the job for me: catching late night news. We do not have cable access in this room so this little TV accesses all our local channels.
