The Full Review

Hey, Alan here.
And you`re reading my uncensored review of what I really thought about Haier HLT71 7-Inch Widescreen Portable Handheld LCD TV. Note that this is a review though, if you are looking to buy the product then click here.
Why am I writing this? Well, When I was thinking about buying Haier HLT71, there weren`t many concise reviews around so I thought I would write one quickly to help any of you who are in the same position I was. But be warned, I`ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that`s something you might not want to hear, then you may aswell check out
other reviews.
So here’s The Most Comprehensive Review of
Haier HLT71 7-Inch Widescreen Portable Handheld LCD TV.
No fluff, no filler – Just what you want and need to know before purchasing.
When I opened the box I realized that the set is so simple to install that I didn’t need to read the directions at all (I do advise to read them though). In about a minute it was set and playing perfectly. My 7-inch handheld LCD TV had enough charge right out of the box for me to check it out, but it is best to charge the battery first.
There are reviews saying it did not pick up any channels with the single rabbit ear that comes with the set. Before you worry, you should first learn how many channels you can receive in your area and what type of antenna you will need to pick up the signals. This tv picks up every signal that is being broadcast in your area. Just use the appropriate antenna. But you can´t expect the set to work as a truly portable TV, like the little analog sets used to, where you could walk about or even watch while riding in a car. Even slight movement will result in digital signal variations.
The picture is absolutely gorgeous, as it has the new atsc digital signal receiver built in! Colors are crisp, sharp and vivid, just like a big hdtv! Color, contrast and brightness are all good and are adjustable using the on-screen menu.
The sound comes from two tiny speakers located below the screen and is guite loud and not so tinny sounding as one would ecpect of handheld portable device and so it serves its purpose fine. You can plug your headphones into the included jack to enjoy the sound without disturbing those around you.
Haier TV`s remote control is easy to read and all functions can be controlled from the remote.
The real plus for me is the plug battery. The battery has a life of about 2-2,5 hours, perfect for a few shows or a movie. Haier HLT71 7-inch portable LCD TV also has batteries separately available. And even though you can use your car adapter when taking a longer trip, it is smart to have an extra battery. You can find some information on Haier HLT71 7-Inch LCD TV Replacement Batteries here.
You can also use the HLT71 with video sources like a DVD player. The HLT71 even has a pullout stand to put it on a table!. The HLT71 does not come with a carrying case but there are suitable cases available.
The Bad Points of Haier TV
Erratic antenna reception while moving , 2-hour battery life.
The Good Points of Haier TV
Good picture quality, small size and light weight, fully featured easy operation
And so we come to the end of my Haier HLT71 7-Inch Widescreen Portable Handheld LCD TV review. Overall, there is no other portable handheld TV which can outperform Haier TV`s bad points. But the vivid, gorgeously colored picture togeteher with simplitcity of use makes it the best product in the niche. You can see the specs on the specification page and the pictures on the picture page and if you want to…
